Agnikarma Pain Treatment in Jayanagar, Bengaluru
Agnikarma is a controlled therapeutic heat application to a precise point of pain. Brief, measured heat applied to the skin over the painful area reduces local Vata and Kapha, relaxes muscle and reduces nerve reflex activity. Most patients report relief within the same sitting.

What conditions respond to Agnikarma?
Agnikarma is used for localised musculoskeletal pain where a specific tender point can be identified — plantar heel pain, knee osteoarthritis, sciatica, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow and chronic low back pain. It is not appropriate for diffuse pain with no identifiable focus.
The response is usually fastest in heel pain and tennis elbow, where the painful focus is superficial and well defined. Deeper joint pain often needs the treatment combined with internal medication and Panchakarma.
Common questions
Small, superficial marks appear at the treated points and usually fade over a few weeks. The application is deliberately brief and shallow, so deep burns are not part of a correctly performed treatment.
It requires caution, since healing is slower and infection risk higher with poorly controlled diabetes. Your sugar control will be reviewed first and the treatment may be modified or avoided.
Is Agnikarma right for you?
That depends on findings only an examination can establish. If it is not the right treatment for your case, you will be told so and referred.
