Abhyanga

Sarvanga Abhyanga is a traditional Ayurvedic therapy that involves the application of warm oil to the entire body. The term “sarvanga” means “whole body,” and “Abhyanga” refers to the therapeutic oil massage that is a central part of this treatment. This therapy is designed to promote relaxation, improve circulation, and enhance overall health and well-being.

During the treatment, warm oil is applied to the entire body, starting at the head and working down to the feet. The oil is massaged into the skin using a variety of techniques, including circular motions, long strokes, and tapping movements. The massage is typically performed with the client lying on a comfortable table or mat.

PACHAKARMA

Pada Abhyanga

“Pada+Abhyanga” “Pada” means foot and “Abhyanga” means massage. Thus, it is described as calming and soothing massage therapy, if done properly can keep our body completely revitalized and rejuvenated, and there are multiple benefits of padabhyanga described in Ayurvedic texts.

Shirodhara

Shirodhara is a popular therapeutic procedure in Ayurveda, which involves pouring medicated liquids on the forehead to induce a relaxed state of awareness and a dynamic psycho-somatic balance.

kati basti

In Sanskrit, ‘Kati’ means the lower back and ‘Basti’ means retaining something inside. Kati Basti is a soothing treatment where a large quantity of warm Ayurvedic oil is retained on your lower back to relieve pain, stiffness and inflammation.

Greeva Basti

In Greeva Basti is medicated oil is retained in the neck region. The procedure does oleation and sudation around the neck region simultaneously. Due to present day lifestyle which involves continued and glued sitting position and lack of body movements the problems of the spine, muscles and skeletal tissues of neck and shoulder arise.

Janu basti

Janu Basti is one of the most popular and effective Ayurvedic therapies for acute or chronic knee pain. Janu refers to knees and Basti stands for container or retaining something inside mainly the medicated oil. This procedure is done in order to strengthen the knee architecture , that is muscles, joints and improvise the functions of knee joint thereby preventing it from further degenerative changes.

Prishta Basti

Prishta Basti is an important Ayurvedic treatment for Pain Management that focus on the spine or the vertebral column. Basti-Medicated Enema
